arts and crafts...the homes

Updated: Apr 7, 2021

For someone who loves technology, I'm fascinated with the Arts and Crafts movement, to the point that though I prepared our wedding from across the ocean, I virtually visited many, many sites before finally finding something that spoke to me and our couple....The Miller Lash House, an elegant Arts and Crafts style house built in 1919, owned by the University of Toronto. The house was built by Green and Wicks for a prominent Torontonian lawyer of the same name. The house was true to all that I love and all that is the true Arts and Crafts movement: nature, craftmanship, honesty in materials, function and beauty. With its exposed pine timbers, clay roof, and river rock lined facade, this was the house of my dreams.
