We set sail from Aagana port near Split. Our friends and my husband got the boat inspections done while I took the four kids for our first swim on the rock beach nearby. We traveled with Sunsail, but did our own cooking and navigating. We got settled, packed up the kitchen and went out for dinner at the harbour restaurant. Fresh fish, grilled calamari and a host of vegetables made for a memorable meal before our depature. The next day we set off early. Things were simple, fresh salads, cheese, dried meats and bread for lunch. Dinners varied from restaurants to simple meals on board. One night we had the luxury of having pancakes cooked by The Pancake Club (our girls). Each morning was reasonably relaxed, we swam, paddled or had a coffee while reading a book. We navigated for a few hours, got some homework done, read, napped until we arrived at our destination. Then a few hours to swim, paddle and explored before we settled in for the night. A remarkable trip filled with happiness.
