It's hard to think about this holiday without family and friends. But current circumstances are exceptional and I know that so many of us are very lucky. My heart goes out to those who find themselves in despair. Courage and prayers to you all. It seems that a number of scientific articles site the importance of gratitude on our happiness--the Yale course on the Science of Well Being by Laurie Santos is a prime example. So take time to give gratitude. Right it down in a journal, it helps me feel better and science suggests that it will help you feel better too.
